Esther started pre-school on 1 February and is so far enjoying it. A few tears on the first day, but now she has made a few new friends and enjoys borrowing books from the library. She continues to be a loving and kind big sister, even as Judith starts to move in on her toys. She will mimic Mummy and Daddy by saving, "No darling, you can't have that one" and will then swap for another suitable toy. Esther has also started swimming lessons and is getting more confident with the teachers there too. Her love of dress up and make believe continues, dinner often involves dressing up (or as she calls it "getting pretty") in a princess gown, tiara and necklaces. She went to pre-school one day as Supergirl and has asked for a pirate party. She is very interested in fairies and likes to check the fairy doors to see if they are around. Mum (with help from Nannie) has explained that the fairies are scared of big people but turn into butterflies to come play with her. And most amazingly, she has followed her mother's approach to eating and often explaining that she has a little bit of space in her side or round her back!
